An agent friend tipped me off to a site that has a list of deductible expenses for actors. The list is available as html or as a pdf at the  address below. Their service page states:

Although it is broad in scope to include many in the entertainment industry, this list is very handy and timely for me. And I found some items on the "list" that I hadn't thought of and will certainly use in the future. Hope this will help somebody out with the ol' schedule C this year. Yikes, filing is now less than one month away!
