Excellent Tongue Twisters from Rodney Saulsberry
Stephanie at Voices.com posted on today's blog, (VOX DAILY)a very fun little gem she discovered , created by successful voice actor, Rodney Saulsberry.
As Rodney says, it is important to warm up every day. For me, it is sometimes a challenge to get the old voice ready on some mornings, and to remember to keep your "chops in shape".
During the past few days, the air has been extremely dry in Southern California as we've been experiencing Santa Ana wind conditions. Humidity at 8-10% is extremely challenging for us voice folks . The throat and mouth are so dry and the tongue likes to take on it's own agenda. The end result is the most dreadful of mouth noises that occur DURING words. I've been constantly hydrating and using Biotene rinse and spray for dry mouth more often than usual.
Today ambient weather conditions feel a bit better. But I am going to turn on the humidifier, and play some more with these excellent tongue twisters Rodney shares with us on YouTube.

The purple plaid pants twister is a real challenge. All of them are really very good, and a bit different and fresher than the Peter Piper or Susie sold seashells types of twisters.
