Do it yourself sound booth progress report #4- PUNCH LIST

Hello one & all.

This project has received a lot of interest in the blogosphere and in the voice over community. I must tell you all there is still much to be done before I move in and record something.

My husband, Pete, who's really been the heavy lifter here has been out of town for a week, so things are at a standstill....for now. However, he returns tomorrow. YAY!!!!!

Since he's returning from the UK back to California, I am certain we'll be dealing with a bit of jet lag, so I'll go easy on him this weekend. heh-heh... While he's been away I have created a new Honey do list: (Of course, I will be working on the list, too) Can't wait. I am getting excited!

Here is the punch list as of 5/31/07:

Wire & Install vent fan, creating a  studio foam "maze"
Procure a headphone extension cable
Relocate /re-wire ISDN cabling, sound mixer
Drill hole for mic cable, headphones, monitor and M-Box
Install mic boom
Move mic  and "pop screen" into both
Move wireless keyboard  & mouse into both
Install lamp
relocate copy stand

Coming soon, pictures of the final completed booth and itemized costs.
