Since beginning this blog earlier this year, I've been quite faithful at regular posting. I had vacation scheduled in and around the Milwaukee and Chicago areas where many friends and family reside. Then my oldest sister, Pat became seriously ill.  I left San Diego a week early and flew to Milwaukee. I took my laptop, M-Box and mic set up to handle workloads around spending several hours a day at the care facility.

Well Pat passed away this past Monday night. It's been a strange, sad time, which is also coinciding with scheduled family vacation. I will return to San Diego next week, and will slowly but surely resume "normalcy", whatever that may be at the time.

For now, I am embracing the moment, with friends and family.
