MicroPort Pro makes recording easy while on the go

"Have laptop and mic will travel" will now allow me to work and audition while travelling so much better. Now I can use my Neumann or Rode studio mics, not a usb mic while I travel. The usb mic, however will come in handy for podcasts and some auditions.
While always on the quest for improved technology to enhance life on the road, I leard about a nifty little device from friend, techno guru and amazing male v/o artist, Frank Frederick.
This is a cool little device, the driverless, phantom-powered, XLR-connected , named the MicroPort Pro. The device is quite small and includes a headphone jack for monitoring, and costs around $150 USD.
It's manufactured by Centrance, where you can view how it works.
I love technology!
