The Countdown Begins: 1 Week 'til VOICE 2008

I'm starting to really get excited about meeting up with so many fellow v/o's I've only had the pleasure to know "virtually", and to pick up where I left off with those who attended last year's inagural conference in Las Vegas. Of course,  there wil be plenty of new friendships to be made and lots of cool information, vo training & workshops, panels, techno stuff, LA vo celeb elbow-rubbing, and reporting all the scoop!

I am happy to say I will joining my blogging friends Dave Courvoiser, Kara Edwards and Bob Souer on Voiceover-Xtra's "Blogging DreamTeam" as partner in reporting from this event.

I'll be sure to bring my camera. This is a handy checklist from James & Penny:

Your At-A-Glance Check-List for
VOICE 2008

_____   VERY IMPORTANT! Print and pack your registration packet. This is critical for your registration

If you haven't downloaded and printed your registration package
and show bag ticket yet, please do that
immediately by clicking here:

            VOICE 2008 Registration Package

_____   Make sure you have your Red Carpet Reception Invitation and  your Show Bag ticket

Your Red Carpet invitation and Show Bag ticket are the last two
pages of your registration package

_____   Have your hotel reservation information for check-in handy

_____   If you haven't already - buy your Celebrity Banquet Ticket online

Reservations for the banquet will NOT be accepted after July 31st

_____   Pack your Bunny (or funny) slippers for Sunday

_____   Pack comfortable clothes for breakout and general sessions

It's best to dress in layers - bring a jacket, sweater, etc. just in case. Hotel meeting rooms are notorious for being too cold or too warm

_____   Dress for the Red Carpet Reception is business casual

Dress for the Celebrity Banquet is black-tie optional. Please dress however you like for the banquet

_____   If you are attending the Early Morning Stretch, be sure to bring your workout clothes and walking shoes

And most important bring your sense of adventure, your sense of humor and your willingness to play!
