I met Randy Thomas at the VOICE 2008 conference last month in Los Angeles. We had radio in our common backgrounds and  worked with some of the same folks. She's a very successful v/o who happens to not reside in LA. The female announcer Voice of the Emmys and Academy Awards now speaks through another medium;
