Today marks the 2nd year I've been writing this blog.  It's fun but also lot of work.  In the past two years I 've posted 347 entries, had 15,835 visits,  285 comments were posted, and there were 556 podcast downloads. OK, but not stellar stats. After all, I'm narrowcasting, and "preaching to the choir" in many instances.

I've decided that I will not be posting every day. Too much pressure. There are a lot of blogs about voiceover, many for beginners to the industry, and many that are not updated regularly, like for months. And there are others which just fire out all the latest v/o news off the feeds.  I  feel no need to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.

I actually prefer creating original content, and I will, however continue to post things I find along that journey I feel are important to my particular voiceover journey or absolutely huge that I must post. that could be of relevance to my kindred brothers and sisters engaged in this loopy business.

Why do I do this? For psychotherapy, and love. Ha! I certainly haven't gotten any work out of it.

So post I will, just not as often.  Perhaps 2 or 3 times per week. In this economy, I'm concentrating more on work, looking for more work, marketing, auditioning, studying and training. I'll be shifting more of my time and attention on upgrading my career.
