This dynamic duo opened Friday’s General Session with a very fun song  about being a “voiceover star” to the tune of the Beatles, “Baby, You Can Drive My Car”

They showed a video showing some pretty amazing facts about the revolution of social media and its impact on many facets of our daily lives; education, research, news, products, services.

• Facebook- Allows you to post demos, videos & more- It can be accessed via mobile phone, blackberry, computer, building relationships. Add fan pages. Etc. Join other voiceover groups and meet other VOs.
• Twitter- retweets are nice compliments. They’ll help you build followers. Hootsuite Twitter Apps was highlighted. (network and send out your demos, tie in your other social media sites.. Try search.twitter.com

• YouTube
• Blogs

Bottom line- Social Media is not a fad.
